Hi! In this picture i wanted to recreate the atmosphere of Bioshock game!I All poligonal modeling. No procedural textures. I made a minimal rig for the "robot", just for the pose, and a minimal overpaint in photoshop with a little diffuse glow! I preferred to don't have DOF in this work!

Love it, great work. You did a great job of capturing the atmosphere of Rapture. I also like the small changes you made to the "Big Daddy", like the feet.
Great textures, great modeling, lighting, its all first class work.

Did you play the demo for this yet?

Its a bit too bright compared to Bioshock. Just gave the demo a go here a couple of hours back and its very dark. If you tone down the lightning and bring out the shadows more, this could become a great picture :)

I've never played to Bioshock but... your image is really amazing :) great lighting and texturing and for sure also the modelling.
Can you show us a wireframe?

i love this game, played the demo, and eagerily waiting for the release, and i love this image :P, the concept of the re-worked big daddy is great, awesome water effect as well
