Title: Broken Shadows
Name: Len Van Der Westhuizen
Country: South Africa
Software: Blender, Photoshop

This is the result of my first attempt at a portrait. I intend to do different themes, and improve on it with each new one. This is the first one: Gothic/Grunge.

I used Blender for the modelling and compositing, and Photoshop for the textures and the blending between the model and background at the bottom of the image.

Any comments and crits welcome guys.

Awsome! Only thing I think is that you could maybe work on the eyes a bit more, to me they seem to be rather dull. Specular highlights will give it that "wet" look you need.

Cheers John

Vexona: Schweet, thanks for the 5 stars hey!

rubenmontecinos: Thanks hey :)

urban-rebellion: Thanks John, I agree with you on the eyes, will try to improve on it and up the spec highligts a bit in my next one. Thanks hey.

Keep well guys, thanks for looking.

Len

I agree with the first post. This is one of the best image I have seen coming out of Blender. I really like the skin texture and details. Very well done.
