this is what render tests SHOULD be... looks good for now. tweak it a little (water needs a little more detail, and the ground should be less smooth) and you've got a nice scene.

I like the scene alot, a wireframe would be a finishing link to my curiousity.:surprised

I don't see why there hasn't been alot of replies inhere...

I may not be a great 3d designer or modeller but I do apreciate such nice envirements like this one. Funny 'cause it reminds me of a dream I ones had. Could you animate the water and add some drupping sounds? :)
Then it would be just a fantastic scene to use in a movie...

good job :applause:

That looks really cool :)
The only thing that you could have changed are the two main pillar shaped parts - it is easy to spot that they copies of one another - even if you did tweak them here and there to make them a little different.
But otherwise, a really nice image

Tnx, cockrane a work that is appreciated! It makes me want to look into the power of dicplacement maps. I haven't really used them that much. The fog/dim in the back really "puts the color on the painting", it feels lika a scene taken from Wallace & Grommit. Lights are very good placed. Now I only have to give you some stars!

Good work, keep it up!

(A simple tutorial on how you made it all.. maybe?)
