anyone know if I can get a XYZshrinkwrap script for MAX?

There is one for maya and it consist in select the first mesh, select the second mesh and when you apply the script it approach the vertices of the first one to the surface of the second one.
Really usefull to make an in-game/realtime version of a high res mesh.

Thanks in advance

I believe that Paul Hormis had one of these on his site. Look him up on CG Talk and you can find links to his site.

Yep!
That's what I was looking for!

It's in the compilation of scripts, the name of the script is Conform_Wrap.ms, inside Wrap folder, really cool!

if someone else is interested in the script you can download here:

really save time when doing realtime versions of the highres.
First select the low res, then run the script and it will ask you for the high res target.

Thanks to Pen for the quick reply and thanks to Paul Hormis for the script!

Just for the record Max offers it's own solution in the projection modifier, which can be set to project vertex positions. It's much faster than any scripted method I've seen, especially on dense meshes.
