CGTalk - max 4 to max 3

Hey....

I'm at college atm and at home i have been using max 4, and this morning when i burnt the max files to cd i recklessly forgot to export the files as 3ds files...

and now i can't open them with max 3...is there a way i can convert them without having max 4 handy?

I have tried importing them and merging them but it will not work :(

please try and help...

NO there is no other way, you have to use 3ds format for opening max 4 file in max 3.

You can always send them to someone with max4 and have them export to 3ds =\

k...thanx for the replies...since then i have exported them and re-burnt them...i just though it was worth asking while i was at college...
