hello, I'm in need of some help with a thing.

I've just finished moddelling a character who has alot of small gems, armour and cloth peices tied to him. now all these are all different objects each with different uvw-unwraps and a meshsmooth tied to them (with different crease and weigh control edges).

I'm just about to start texturing the model but I don't know how I should do this.
1.Make a huge amount of textures for each object?
2.Try to gather some of the objects togeather and attach them (which might be a problem while animating. Would cloth anims work? etc) and make just a few uvw-unwraps?


and how can I preserve meshsmoothing crease if I attach 2 objects (meshsmooth modifier on both)

ok I just found out that you can turn the iterons down to 0 on the to-be-attached object and the crease control will be preserved.


still... what would be best thing to do? (preferably what makes my life easier in a later stage :) )
