Hey all
I am a newbe trying to get a faster workflow going for me and was woundering if any one made a script or plugin that makes slections of polys easer than click, click, click, click....... I am looking for somthing like a paint tool for slecting polys. I have seen somthing like this in xsi but was woundering if any one made somthing for max.
Thanks

Howdy !

I'd say there are plenty of ways to avoid "click-click-click" to select faces..
First off, and to answer that particular question, check out http://www.scriptspot.com and you'll probably find something like that paint selection tool.
Also, Max has a built-in Lasso tool, different ways to draw selections, including backfacing or not; what's more, if you're working with polys for example, then you can also use edgeloops and edgerings, then convert selections to faces....

Try to find Uzife on the internet, it's a real timesaver. You're able to draw your selection with your rightmouse (or left). Linestyle and width of selectiontool are adjustable.

go http://www.scriptspot.com & find Polymagus 2.0 or paintSelect-v1_2, the first one has some other features.
