I was wondering if any body could help me out with this.
I want to model a cell cluster type of object.
I know it is possible to use blobby surfaces to form the shape of a sphere with a particle simulation. That's easy, but can you take the results from the desired frame, and bake it into something permanent( I don't know a whole lot about baking things out, or even its primary purpose), or convert the particles to poly, or nurbs?
I want to try this instead of manually modeling a million spheres. I know displacement mapping is an option as well, or even just bump mapping.
Any help, would greatly be appreciated.
