Hello all,

This is my first post so hi to all those great people here! I have always watches this site and forum with great respect, not only because there are so many great people who place there work here, but also because the community is very free it helping each other. Though for some reason I never registered and never made a single post.. So here is that first post, with my first real attempt at 3D character animation done with Maya 8.5.

I made this movie as a school assignment at ‘QANTM Collage Amsterdam’ where I am following the ‘Game Design and Development’ course. We got the characters fully rigged from our mentor, who on his part got it from the internet. I hope you liked it and I would really appreciate it if people could comment on it, thanks in advanced!

Looking good, although the Igor character could have moved a little less "snappy"...
Other then that, it's a really good first try.

En toevallig ben je nog een naamgenoot ook :D

Its a good start. Try giving the mad scientist a little more gusto and movement. As is he stands pretty much still and just moves his head and arm. Really get in there and animate him, give him some more strong poses and good silhouettes.

Also that clip is hilarious, whats it from?

The lip sync is pretty good but you're missing the body movement to go along with it. This looks like it could be a really good piece. I would try and play with the scientist's poses a little more like previously stated. Other then that good start.
