CGTalk - cam for tracking

whats a good cam for trackin, also ive been wanting to do some tracks an try it an maybe do one for my demo reel i have a sony hi8 cam dv wanted know if that was ok to use

I don't really see your point. A good camera for tracking is the one that does not shake too much and has enough resolution. Anyway youy can always do with what you have.
