CGTalk - Flashing letter

Hi

I have about 15 words that I need to be able to make specific letters out of those words flash. Is there a way maybe a script that would allow me to pick any letter and have it flash on and off without having to manually keyframe each and every one.

I am running 6.5 pro.

have you looked through all the text animation presets? there's probably one that does it, or would with a tiny bit of modifying.

Unless I cant see the wood from the trees I cant see anything that is just flashing on and off. The other problem is that if I do a google search I get stuff to do with flash as in the programme.

I will keep looking .
