View Full Version : Freeze axis movement in viewport

I'm working on a walk animation. The character moves forward, and I want to use the left view to check the action of the looping 16 frame animation.

I'd like to keep the character centered in the viewport instead of moving forward then jerking back to the start. Is there any way to keep him centered in the viewport?

I'm not entirely sure, but I think you can do it with a Character Node.

Link a free cam to his pelvis ?

I couldn't see anything in character that does it.

Linking a camera gets the job done especially once I figured out the 'orthographic projection' setting. Thanks.
