View Full Version : 3D paint Slowdown with PaintFX

After I paint a stroke with the 3D paint tool using PaintFX, my machine bogs down for a few seconds. Its not the end of the world, but it really makes me feel restrained. The delay I get is the same length with a 2048 x 2048 texture as it is with a 1024 x 1024 texture so I don't think it is related to file size. I'm using Dual 1.8 GHz Xeon with a gig of Ram and a Quadro 2. Its not the slowest machine on the market but at the same time it isn't the fastest. Any ideas?
