Before, i post, i would like to state that this is NOT my work. Though it is work of a good freind of mine.

The first image is the orginal, where the second is it edited in photoshop, i personnaly think that it is a great pecie;

Heh, I originally thought that you were going to say the first pic was CG, and I almost crapped my pants. Realizing that was not the case, the modified image is just color rebalance and some red spraypaint. Kind of gratuitous gore for no purpose IMO.

he is not eating his own hands, lol:) if i remember right, the one who is having bloody holes growing in his palms is sort of a chosen one or something. the holes are caused by the nails struck through his (jesus) palms while being crucified. sort of a religious thing. if i'm wrong, then refresh my memory.

anyway, the pic is real cool, has the feeling of grose and scaryness innit:)

I think you should remove the text "God help me". I think the picture alone is telling more without the text. Other than that it looks like a cd-cover for a hard rock band.

those words totally destroy the whole picture.

that is good work but I can't believe anyone didnt catch the jesus refrence.

Not that I am overly religious. But it seems obvious to me.

STIGMATA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it's a documented phenomenon, in which highly dedication religious persons inexplicibly receive the wounds of Christ... ie. holes through hands and feet (even though the nails that hung Christ through the cross would have had to go through his wrists - cause the hands can't support the weight - they'll tear :thumbsdow), punctured side, and gashes on the forehead from the crown of thorns. Usually those with Stigmata only get the hands and feet though. haven't you guys seen the movie?
I don't understand why he has blood on his mouth though...has he been licking his wounds?
