View Full Version : Setting up image planes in Maya 4.5 Unlim
kymera 03-28-2003, 10:22 PM Hi eeryone Im new at this, can someone tell me how to set up image planes in maya for patch modeling? Everytime i set up image planes in the front and side viewports i cant see the nurbs primative adn therefore cant get started with modeling. Appreciate any help and thanx everyone.

hehe i jsut learned how to do this today
in the viewport you want to setup an image plane jsut click
view/camera attribute editor
and goto Environment and click Create for image plane
then under image plane attributes select the image you want to be displayed

The only thing I would, Kymera, is that you should make sure that you have told Maya to "SHOW" the cameras in the viewports that you want to see the image planes in. Otherwise, you can have a image plane that will not be visible while in the viewports.
