Has anyone attempted to export a mesh from XSI Crosswalk via Collada format and then opened the .dae file in Photoshop CS3 extended?

Whenever I try to do this, Photoshop always crashes. I can open the .dae file again in XSI and I can open .dae files not exported from XSI in Photoshop.

During the crosswalk export, I have attempted unchecking the XSI specific options and have attempted to export a single mesh by exporting selection only. The Photoshop crash still occurs though. This happens with any mesh or scene I've attempted.

BTW I'm using XSI v6.02, collada v1.4.1, crosswalk v2.04, Photoshop CS3 extended.

Check out this link, its to the Collada Exporter Chart for the C4 Engine. The Engine uses collada files, but people were having problems getting files to work from XSI. They discovered that XSI's exporter just isn't quite up to Collada's specs yet. But they found a workaround for it, using Autodesks FBX converter (which is free) check it out.
