the elephant was modeled in maya, displacement and texture were created in zbrush, and the environment was made in vue. it was also rendered in vue. any critiques and comments are welcome. thanks.

Nice job. I think the head & body look pretty good, but the legs don't look wide or long enough & the trunk looks too wide (not much, but with the legs too small, the trunk looks out of proportion). When you fix that, put it in a good landscape and it will look great.
