I would like to import a *.divx file to AF but it seems that this isn't possible.
So is there a chance to convert a *.divx to any other video format which can be handled by AF like *.avi? I did i quick research on the net but i haven't found anything usefull.

If you are asking yourself why someone wants to convert a divx to a avi:
I would like to cut out just one little piece of a divx file from a movie and put this peace into my example library. At the moment iam highly interested in these little spots that are presenting the logo of a company, like this short sequences on the start of a movie which are showing all the company logos that worked on the film. Is there even a name for this sequences (for example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBhS8_9IqSw) - Logo-Spot, Logo-Teaser or anything?

Convert the clip using VirtualDub or similar tools. DivX, XviD and a bunch of other formats are unsuitable for AE. As mere delivery formats they are not meant to be edited again and thus use compression schemes that AE is having a hard time with.

Ahhh VirtualDub... sometimes the solution is so near that you can't see it.
