Hi all. First time i do a challenge here. Looking forward to all your comments and critisc.

I will do a deer in stags fighting position. If i have time i will make another one, so it turns out to a real stags fight.
Something like this:

So far i made a head. Still tweaking it and trying to folow some musculature.
I will post my further progress.

A quick muscle outline.

Started blocking out the body. Folowing the muscles, or atleast trying. :)

I will maybe tweak it a bit more, and start posing it. Wish me luck.

I thought i would be further away with this by now. But time isn't my ally and i had some problems with computer... :/

Anyway, found some time to unwrap the model.

Haven't worked on this for quite some time.
But still here is some recent progress...
It isn't really that much of a strong pose but it think ill go with it.

I probably wont make the deadline, but still I'm really satisfied with how its going so far.
Good luck to all participants.

On the contrary, I think the pose is not bad at all...maybe twist the neck and spine a tiny bit. Excellent work!

I agree, I think the pose is nice.

I like that pose too,but i thought others won't like it. Cos you cant tell if he is atacking or defending.
I watched some videos of stags fighting, and most of time they are in such poses, where you cant relly tell are they on atack or defence, and just as you thought oh!, there, this one is on atack, sudenly he is defending. :wise:

Too bad! I really liked your beginnings.
Keep me posted in case you decide to finish this. Your model and pose show great potential, so I am naturally very curious what you would do with it.

Cheers!:arteest:

Yeah, same here!!

You have a very good starting point for an excellent sculpt.

PS: I don't think Roberto will look at the finals thread untill tomorrow, so if you have a couple of spare hours today, get it into Zbrush and start sculpting. :) Maybe you can still stay in the challenge.

I really like where this is heading!
