This is the final composition for my Arachne model.Arachne was a young woman from Lydia, sometimes said to be a princess, who offended Athena, and suffered the consequences. Her story helped serve as a warning to all to take care to not offend the gods.
She challenged the god Athena to a weaving contest and won,so Athena got so angry with her that she turned Arachne into a spider so that her and her descendants would forever hang from threads and be master weavers.

Nice image. I like the texturing. Something about the background is bothering me, but I'm not sure what, so I guess that's kind of a useless comment. I really like the character though.

great modelling and texturing! But one thing is striking: When I look at this picture the object seems like a miniature to me - I donīt know why - no idea at all. It was just my first impression when looking at this image. Is it the perspective, the light, the texture...? I donīt know
