Hey, guys.

Here's the low poly dragon I made for kicks, and to add to my reel something for games. Any crits are welcome and apreciated.

looks good. i think it needs to be more scaly though, texture-wise.

Good observation. I was going for the tough hide look, though. I wanted to change up the stereotype a bit.
(plus it looks a bit weird from afar when you cram all that small repetitive detail)

looks really cool!

but your wasting polys on his armor,
the shoulder/hip plates, they should have no depth to them,
the "walls" on the side are extra polys that arent really needed.

still it looks very cool, can we see a texture sheet ?

Really nice model. :buttrock:

But as for it being a dragon, well ain't they all got wings. :hmm:

That would be a good poll question. I've seen plenty without them. I've even seen dragons with fur all over their body, like Japanese dragons. Those and the Chinese dragons never had wings.
As far as european dragons are concerned, There have been versions where they have them, and others that look more like super powered dinosaurs. No wings at all, and some cool extra horns. It's all where the artist want to take them I guess.

Out of context an without a story line behind them, I guess it's free for the viewer to interpret anyway.

I wanted to variate on anatomy.. not that I havent seen this kind of dragon before.
