CGTalk - Blending colors??

I'm new to Photoshop and am very into painting withit right now. I was wondering if there was a way to blend the seperate colors as if I were really painting. Do I simply start a new layer? I'm lost on this one.

You mean like "mixing yellow and blue to get green"? If you really wanna do it you can work in the CMYK color-space an numerically mix the four "inks" to your liking, but if you wanna do some serious work in photoshop I suggest you read the help-file, especially the topic "Working with Color". Have fun creating! :D

Thanks.. I eventually figured it out. I'm loving photshop more and more! It's easy, no mess and way cheaper. :D
