View Full Version : Little -> BIG rotation orientation problem

Hi,

I have very silly problem... But I haven’t got any idea...

I am ending bones system in Max 5, for arms I use forward kinematics (first time in Max 5).

My problem is:

Rotation pivot is world orientated, but I must rotate with object (bone) orientation. I know my English is bad, so I illustrate my problem.

I like 3ds Max 5 new rotation manipulator... So I hope it can be done...

Try switching the rotate mode from world to "local" maybe ?

yeah if you ever get in trouble with the gizmos and there not pointing in the way you want to move or rotate the object then try the selection modes ie world local parent etc eventually you will find one that works for you
