Hey Guys,

Quick question, I have a character that is one piece of Geo(so head and body are attached) now how should I do the blendshapes for the face. I am concerned that if I duplicate head and body that all that extra information will slow down performance. I want to be able to just have duplicate heads and not worry about the body, but still be able to create blendshapes that work and I can go back and fix.

Also, Anyone know where I can find jason osipa's mirror blend shape script (his site is down). Thanks

Make duplicate of the head and rig that only head, after that use wrap deformer to attach the rigged head to deform the whole body...

If performance is all you are worried about, you can duplicate the entire mesh, make the blendshapes, and then delete the blend shapes. make sure you export them into a seperate file first in case you want to make any changes.
