Check out Checkland Kindleysides (http://www.checklandkindleysides.com)
Done with the Vector Renderer in Maya ( with a lot of frame by frame cleaning too )
Also, the shadows are JPEG sequences. I posted it as WIP because more animations might be added for an Interactive Installation and I would like some feedback on them. Cheers :)
