For my animation assignment i want to able to let my character pick up an object E.g A Wallet. Is there a way to constrain the wallet to my character's hand or am i stuck to animating the 2 separately

Problem solved i used a parent constrain

Another question. i'm working on an assignment where i have to first pick up the item then put it down later in the scene. but the parent constrain works throughout the whole scene.

Is there a way to turn on and off the parent constrain? or are there other methods?
