View Full Version : Best Facial animation book/tutorials?
jason108 08-04-2007, 08:19 PM I've been thinking about buying "stop staring". Is this book any good?
I'm doing Facial rigging and animation for a cartoony style in Maya. I loved Maya's Super toon video but it was a bit over my head. So a book or tutorisl that could teach me step by step on how to do toon faces would be great.
Thanks
jason

second edition of stop staring is probably the best resource for you. Make sure tis the one with Squoosh on the cover. There honestly isn't anything book wise thats comparable and not much video wise in terms of depth.

Definately get jason's book. Really great fundamental stuff in there. Once you've went through that the Alias DVD's should be no problem! :)
