I've not had much time to do much personal work since the last HCM.
Lots of work to finish back in the office. Hopefully this time round i can find enough time to crunch something out.

Objective - to capture the speed as well as the muscularity of a stallion.

Welcome, man! Horses are always a good choice for anything, be it a drawing, animation, 3D or whatnot. Good luck with it :)

Just came back from an short trip over @ vietnam, a wonderful country
But now that i'm back, gotta buck up on this entry.
Just slightly 1more mth left... checking out the other great entries around.
ALOT more left to be done... since i've just getting started.

I think i've more of less trimmed the block into my basic mesh.
Gonna be doing the unwrapping on the model soon enough.

So far is there any good tutorial for learning zbrush in a day? all the way from preparing the base model to unwrapping and importing into zbrush and exporting the displacement map?
I'm totally new to the zbrush workflow...
Should i rig the model into pose 1st or should i do the sculpt followed by rigging? I don't want to lose the symmetry after i do up the rigging...
I tried importing the obj mesh from zbrush into max and it takes a hell of a time to be imported, not to mention unwrapping the high dense mesh was hell...

Man now you've really got me craving Pho! :scream: lol

To the point here, your base looks excellent and neatly proportioned! Are you planning on doing the tail with hair?

A tut for learning ZB in a day? Good luck searching! lol Other than that I can only recommend the new Gnomon Meats Meier DVD, I hear it is excellent.

ZB3.1 now has asymmetrical sculting very much like Mudbox. I havent tried it myself yet, but I hear it works well, so you can rig first and then sculpt. That's what I will do with my Tiger anyways.

What makes you reimport a hugely dense mesh for unwrapping?
