Hi,
Do you know Deadpool?
is a character from Marvel comics, but I gues is not so popular to make a movie about him...
anyway, I love the character so I'm modelling him:

I'm focused in the high poly version, but for the final ingame the polycount should be around 8k.

Looks like you're aiming a tad for the just after the Mithras Project outfit. Couple things but this is just Zbrush bitches in general that I've noticed.

You seem to have detail just for the sake of having detail. Allow me to explain. Your face mask is an excellant place to start. The lines which come around the black spots, from what I know, have never been drawn for any Deadpool image I have ever seen. Instead, those areas are typically flat ala Robins Mask moreso than the ridging pools you've done here. Likewise, in the changes in the material, it almost seems like the material is shrinkwrapped then heated.

I know the general tendacy when presented with powerful tools is simply to keep working in more and more details that "look totally awesome" but I fear you've overworked this design a tad much. I think the current mentality is detail just for the sake of detail and you're forgetting that Deadpool was, and still is, largely an uninspired Spiderman clone who's personality alone defined a great character.

I think before you move forward, you should probably move back, smooth out some of these details. But that's just personal preference.

hell yeah- this is shaping up real nicely- nothing constructive to add except maybe the strap across the chest looks a tad weird dipping inbetween his pecs like that. Almost like its stuck in there with gum or something. might want to make that a seperate mesh and have it be a bit more taught.

OH and nice choice on picking the best character in the marvel universe- or the only good one :P

No way the new max has real time shadows now. Does Direct X work better now? It's been very buggy in my experience. Very cool model btw

yeah, man, that's real time!

and it's like 10 times faster and before even with the shadows and .FX shaders on the model,
btw, .FX shaders are really cool as well, I love the new viewport.
