I used photoshop to paint the girl using airbrush and also did some acrylic painting in Corel Painter. I used a photo I took of a cracked mud puddle on a layer for the crackle effect. Made the border by decreasing the size of the top layer and erasing the edges and applying a drop shadow. I took the image of the flower and pasted them into the picture for a more victorian look. I used the smudge tool #36 charcoal to give the background a painted look and cloned this around the bottom of the girl.
