I'm working on a new vehicle, what do you think?

I think you're on the right track, and the model looks pretty solid.
If you are going for realism, you could bevel all those sharp edges.
And procedurals are great, but if you really want this thing to look excellent, try painting some of your own textures, or at least some masks.
Good start!
The tires look great.

Thanks GILGAMESH I was planning on making the corners all beveled I'm just learning maya. I learned it a few years ago, but never stuck with it, now i want to get back into it. I have a friend that works for a game company. So I'm working at it. I will post more when I make some advances. yah I love the tires too.

Really, in all the war movies, CNN war coverages, games, tv documentries, military hardware books....
Have you ever seen a real tank who's weapons are chromed? Unless you're a rapper on mars, the military just doesnt take the trouble of chroming its weapons.
Bevelling, quite important. You could give some detail to the armor ie seperating it into plates, adding rivets, screws, etc.
You could add animatable properties ie the door opens, the turret swivels.
Part of being a good modeler is to produce models that will properly animate.

I will make some changes, I have this pic for you all, any advice is appreciated. Thanks to everyone who responds. I like the criticism, I only had the guns chromed for now until I get the shader I like. I'm having alittle trouble getting the camoflouge to look right. I'm thinking I want to use a texture close to what I have. But it will take a few adjustments.

If you did this in Lightwave I would suggest using Verti Bevel on the edges.

Nice work
Heres a small tip
to take a ss without that annoying ass hypersnap icon
hold alt and hit printscreen
(alt+printscreen)
then just open psp or whatever you use (i use photoshop on my end) and paste it
voila =) Free screenshots w/o annoying banners that might obstruct the view

My model is giving me some difficulty. I can't seem to bevel the edges that I want. I was just wondering if anyone might have a suggestion for me.

off to a good start...

obviously you're using Sony's Dropship PS2 game for reference, here's some of the artwork we produced for the game last year, hope it helps :D

Well I've been spending alot of time, when I have time, rebuilding this vehicle. I tried to bevel the edges of the polygon (using edit polygon>bevel) but it didn't represent in a way that I like so back to square one almost. Here's a shot of my new model partly done. I think it will look a little more realistic this way. What does everyone think?
