View Full Version : Compositing in After Effects question
visualchaosfx 08-03-2007, 04:01 AM I've created an animation in 3ds max which is to be composited onto live action video. In 3ds max I rendered out with a series of PNGs with an alpha channel. I imported all of the images into after effects and composited onto my footage. Everything looks great but I can see a faint black outline around the animation and I'm having trouble getting rid of it. Any suggestions?

Effects --> Channel --> Remove Color Matting
Next time simply render with straight Alphas.
