very nice!!
2 things.
I think the Goatie looks like it is floating off his face, there is just something about it that does not seem right.
The skin is great although it still needs a touch, i kinda looks a little like wet clay.
Still, a very fine piece of work. Any chance of a wireframe?
Modelling looks great, maybe the ear could use some work and seems to far back.
The goatie looks unreal, because he casts no shadows, I'd say. And his stubble really goes to far down hin throat. At least in my opinion, that's a little too much to shave.
Skin texture looks nice, but the shader is wrong. It's too yellowish and should be more warm in the shadows and especially in the areas between light and shadows it should be reddish. I'm sure brazil is able of handling that.
The highlights in his eyes should be on the same side in both eyes, that is very weird in your image.

Here's some constructive critique:
Try to not make it look like it's a plastic mold.

As you can see in the first post, I've made some change to the skin, the eyes, the goatie and the illumination. I hope now is better.:bounce:
