Well this is my first organic model done in LW. really beginning to get a hang of its tools.

This was originally just to practice but liked the final results so here she is.

The image is linked to a quicktime vr turn around of her.

I used joe cosman's male model originally to make a female version. Then I got board with the plain figure with no face and rebuilt it from the ground up to get this version.

enjoy,

Jay

if you use lightwave just look it up in the manual. I followed the tutorial there.

basically made a 12 frame turn around with no vertical tilting (0 degree tilt) have it render to qt vr format and you'r done.

nice model but my only problem with it is that her fingers are way too long. They go round her waist with no problem which seems rather strange

Hmmm....

I have premeire and it does not have that capability. Not sure but don't think max can. Unique to LW I think.

OK there is a way, untested since I just looked it up.

Basically you render out a 360 turn around your object.

So put model at 0,0,0. make a null there too.

setup the camera and light to get a good view. Make the camera and light a child of null. Now just rotate null 360.

I made mine 12 frames so it has to rotate 360 in that many frame. you can do as many frames as you want. of course download will take longer.

Render it out as a quicktime movie.

you need quicktime pro ($30)
and this plugin for it; QTVR Converter

download it from here
http://developer.apple.com/quicktime/quicktimeintro/tools/

open your movie and do an export to streaming VR format...

follow the instructions in the read me file.

basically it will have however many frames as the movie you made and 1 row.

i had no preview frames for mine but it was saved in sorenson 3 format if that is of any help.

that's it.

hope you can figure out the rest. I won't be able to try it till I get home.
