Yeah Dave, I just got done looking at your site, and it's clear that your skills are rapidly developing. Atro is an awesome looking character, well executed and with what looks to be a complete rig. I'm thinking you should definitely try your hand at animating. Sure you may not like the first few thing you do, but we all went through that.

Thats a fine looking model. Great job.
Just stop putting so much grain in your renders, it knocks out so much of the detail.

yeah..id agree with the rest that you should just try it with the animation...only one way to figure out if youre rigs are working correctly anyways:thumbsup:

I agree with everyone, Animate! just try it.

Other than that, im a little distracted because it looks like he doesnt have a throat, when you look at his mouth it just stops.

may be an illusion, if not, i think you should fix it.

also, less grain, a little is ok, just not that much, it messes up the good job you did camera matching, cause he has more grain than the pictures themselves.

New to the forum and simply amazed at the work I'm seeing here. Your model is quite good. The only suggestion I would give is to have sone different skin tones or shading in the differnet facial areas. The little freckles are a good start there on the forehead, but the ears and eye area seem a little sparse. Usually this is broken up by hair or jewelry or some sort. The guy seems great hairless so I would not recommend that. Just something to break up the same texture on his ears nose, neck and face. Great personality on the guy though. I would think he's a big meanie like Stitch (from Lilo & Stitch).

He could be generally accepted by folks, but his face looks like the box modeling defines his features. He doesn't look like he was sketched out first, but, instead, was just squeezed out polygon by polygon. There's no reason to have that many rows of polys making his nose when it's just a square.

Superior animation and true acting character can overcome all this and make him endearing, but as far as an organic being, it's not making sense, visually. There's no evolutionary reason for a the geometric features.

He has a cuteness factor, but not a believablity factor.

I'm not saying he's bad, but that he's just not what I accept as a believable life form.
