Yeah the awnings ( ;) ) could use a bit more detail. I really like the DOF and the overall look of the bricks and the windows. From a compositing standpoint, it isn't fitting in too well with the treeline in the back. I'm sure if you really want it to fit, b/c that would require making the models look much more faded out to match the stock photo. Since it's for a proposal, I'm sure you want the buildings to look top notch and really stand out.
I like it all very much.

It is simply amazing how I can miss something after constantly looking at the scene. Thats what C&C is for! Updated improved awning image in the works! :) Thanks for the comments thus far. :
hmmm.....i agree, the green thingy need some work on that and the picture looks flat, it doesn't have much depth into it, need a bit more shadowing and the texturing on the roof, it aslo loo ks really flat but overall looks good.

Here is the new and sugestions taken into account version. Switched the angle a tad, changed awning texture completely, shadowing etc. etc. etc :)

Much improved (at least I think so! :))
:applause:
Yes, much improved.. & probably good enough for a viz sim. But if you still want some feedback:
My suggestions would be to create more dynamic range in the image by letting the sun light be the hottest light in the scene and reducing/attenuating your fill light(s). The DOF might be better done in post (photoshop) and why not make the sky blue and saturate the trees a bit.
Also the color of the car in the photo closely matches the brick work, so you might want to introduce a cool color there by hue shift - blue would complement the new sky and break up the overall tone of the rendering.
Good job!

One last thing - reflection maps are nice and well choosen but don't you think windows in the shadows would have hard reflections? By hard I mean high contrast.

Wonderful. thats the same look I`m going 4 on my church project. If I wasn`t an animator, I couldn`t tell if thats a picture or model. Can you explain how you did it that way? Philly Phinest:thumbsup:
