I have an object animated but grouped a couple times so the animation is on the group not the mesh node. How can i transfer the animation from the group node to the mesh node?

in hypergraph you can reconnect the animation curves from the group to the shape by recnonecting them there..
but only works, if your shape node was 0 0 0 for all values before

Give Edit->Keys->Copy/Paste Keys a try. Or export the animation of that node and then reimport it on the other node.
