Greetings my cg comrades,
i have been modeling my character and was just wondering if anyone knew how to change the lightsource in zbrush 3 like you do in 2. Im pretty sure its something small but i just cant seem to find it if anyone can help me i would be greatly appreciated. thanx

You can change lights in zbrush 3 just as you did in Zbrush 2.

What's different is the introduction of Matcap materials. They run off of a shading model that does not compute light, but rather mutliplying various color and specular values based on the orientation of surface normals. Or for short, they don't work with lights :)

Use the fast shader, basic shader and probably several others and you'll find they work with lights. They are not as fast to render so keep that in mind.

Thanx i used the different shader and its working out for me and also i found where to adjust the light source. It was under light in the upper menu. Thanx
