Title: Primping Faerie
Name: Sandra Chang-Adair
Country: USA
Software: Painter

I orginally created this faerie in Painter last March. I decided to paint a background for her like I did for the Green Faerie piece. I tried to add some lighting to her, but since I didn't conceive of the composition all at once, I had difficulty. I spent many hours just staring at the background, wondering how to depict the foilage. The end result departed from the minute details of my reference and I used a lot of custom brushes in Photoshop. I think it has a etheral overall look to the piece, but honestly, I was trying for more realism.

Looks good, the head might be a bit to big, it might be the hair, but beautiful colours.

the top leg looks a bit to thick (all tho it is corectly painted ) but i all way thought of faireys being more slight and slender .. but hehe thats just my interpatation of fairys... so really its not a problem
wonderful colors as said above

Hi..Nice work..Some anatomy issues are there as her face is looking lil big as the whole anatomy suggests there..But overall feel of the image is really good..u have done a great job in the backdrop..All the best..Take carez..Cheers:)

Lovely work, the upper body could have been bigger though (it would fit the legs and head better ;) )
Nice colours, the fairy is beautiful!

Thanks for the compliments. Anatomy is always a thing I have to work on (sigh...)
