View Full Version : Bum Uv's
spiralof5 07-31-2007, 06:11 AM I've imported an OBJ from Maya. I've divided the sublevels. I've painted the texture. I've exported the texture. I've imported the texture as a color map into Maya. Yet, every UV has this black seam in between each UV set. It only appears when I render from a say in between a medium to medium long shot. What did I do wrong?
Is this a Zbrush thing or a Maya thing?
Thank you in advance,
Scott

There is an option in ZBrush to "fix seams" in the texture menu, but since I'm a waver and not a Maya user, I can't say exactly if that would fix your problem or not.

Negative.
The texture shows black seems when rendered in maya. Fix seams should only be working in Zbrush and have nothing to do with Maya really.
Maybe this is more of a maya issue, not sure.
