Hello folks.

I am in the midst of modeling/rendering a small condo unit. The bathroom is my current challenge. Moreso the shower. I've been modeling everything else without a hitch, but for some reason after many attempts, I can't bang out this flipping shower.

Might I ask how any of you would approach this??

i'd approach it as it exists in the real world - everything that is a separate part in real world, would be a separate object in 3d. the actual shower and the hose and the tap - they're the easy parts. as for the shower cabin - i'd start by creating a simple mock, which closely resembles the overall shape. then start adding additional cuts for all the bevels and creases.
now i don't have time at hand to do a step by step tutorial, but i hope this will get you started.

I'd start out using NURBS.

Thanks guys. I will give these a shot. I've been able to block it out with poly-modeling but then couldn't seem to take it to the next level. I know nothing about nurbs except that they seem to be frowned upon in Max.

This is what I got with my blocking out
