Just had a chance to play with it, and the rulers and stencils are awesome (especially the ruler should be noticed by all other applications : its should be standard in all software)

There are lots of other goodies, like the new art tool modes (soft blending palette knife yay!)

Okay, gotta get back to work, will post more findings later.

Cool update. Patiently waiting for the non-temporary canvas flipping feature, maybe in v. 3?

Yeah, it is a really cool app. I think it deserves more attention than it gets, atleast as far as I can tell that it gets. I purchased in time for the free upgrade and I really like it alot, especially the new stencil/maks/ruler options.

Its there, when I press 'V' and 'H' respectively, the canvas is flipped vertical and horizontally...

non-temporary flipping

click edit, transform layer contents, then press H or V, then ok

this program rules, and for as cheap as it is, everyone with a computer should own it! can't wait to download the update!

it should be noted that is one of the few really fun programs out there. I know that sounds weird, since it's certainly possible to have fun in things like Max, Maya, Shake, After Effects, etc... But seriously, when you open this program the first time, there is literally NO learning curve, and it just makes you smile. You just open it and get started painting! Totally fun!

this is awesome news. I love this program. I've used it on many of the pictures in my gallery.

It also works perfectly in wine so linux users should get this great app too.

Got to second that and it's great on a tablet pc.
