Hi everyone! I'm new to CGSociety, figured I put this forum to valuable use. As the thread title states, I'm in need of some critiques. These may not be the best screenshots I have but I hope they'll give enough info for feedback. I currently do not have the poly count (the info and files are on my brother's computer at the moment). I don't want to overflow this thread right away with everything I'm working on so here's what I have to start. Thanks in advance for your help. :)

Nice concept and textures m8. Nothing to critique to be honest

Looks very nicely. Bed is wicked, I love the design and final model. Simply awesome.

Agreed.

The weapons have a beautiful style to them. Great work.

love the weapons and the concept drawings... very colorful.

the bed could use a couple more polys. i know it's suppose to be lowpoly, but that seems DS/PSP spec to me. i would add more polys to the bed's headboard and the bed cushion.

but, if your going for DS/PSP specs, bravo!

I'm totally digging the the models and textures. Even in their low poly state I can see how close they are to the concept. Can't wait to see more.

Very nice work, I think your weapon models are very clean and stylish.
I think I'm going to have to disagree with Heavy about the polycount on the bed. I think it has a great style with the sharp edges the lower polycount gives it. However the leaf-texture drapes above the bed seem a little too fuzzy or low-res compared to the rest. Perhaps it's just this monitor here at school (they're old CRTs) though.

In all very nice work, from concept to finished prop and weapon I think you've got serious talent.

Thanks, everyone! I greatly appreciate it! I've been lacking confidence but your critiques are helping a lot now! I will surely post up more soon!

And yes, Heavy, I was going for the DS/PSP low poly spec. Figured I give myself a poly limit and see how well I can pull things off. :D Also, I forgot to mention that the weapon concepts were actually done by a good friend, Re'Jean DuBois. With his permission, I made 3D versions of them.

Thanks again, everyone for your critiques!

Thanks, Kromano. :) I do agree with the drape textures. I will have to go back and sharpen them up. I wish it was your school monitors, however, sadly for us all (especially me), it's not. LOL. :D
