it´s all modelled nicely, but the blur is too much in my opinion... reduce the background blur a bit and its all fine :)

I like it. Its very good. However (not but...) i thikn the perspective is a bit off ont he main battery. Looks likeit is leaning a bit too much.

Otherwise nice lighting and generally perspective is good. Just the front battery that caught my eye.

 oh and maybe... perhaps TOO much blur on the back ones, as the front one is VERY clear, but the rear ones are VERY blurred.

Yes, I use GI and DOF.

Yeah more shadows would help......right now the batteries look like they are floating and also the blur which was addressed earlier.

yes that is cool.
what did you do for the floor shader. is it a real picture or something because it looks a little blury even in the high focus area. and the battery leads look very CG I dont know how I would improve them they just look funky
I think that battery leads are a bit more reflective. or do you just not have an environment to reflect. if you dont I would use a real pic. that would certainly increase the realism

the shader on the metal portions of the battery could use some help. Also, the blur looks a bit odd, and too much, as stated.

Thanks guys for your comments, here the same scene with less DOF and more shadows.

looks very realistic, only crit is that the metal on the positive pole is a bit too dark in my opinion.

Now we're talking! Looks fantastic - much more realistic and almost perfect.

Crit - same as above. Just lighten that positive pole and i'd say its done.

Looks great. :buttrock: :bounce: :wip:
