I managed to solve the unfolding of the mesh as some of you will remember and here is the result of my work so far.
I really have to redo the head texture. Also I have to texture the hands and model the shoes. I have to finish this character by the end of the weekend. I really have to move on modelling all the other stuff. Time is really pressuring here. I wasted an awful lot of time on this character and the results aren't quite good. But I think that all of the work and all the thing I've learned from it will help me build the other characters faster. I hope...
Anyway here are the pictures

go go....don't sell yourself short bud...ya did a good job.

as far as i can remember this is a key character so the time spent so far is time well spent (imho). also this learning curve will shorten...allowing you to speed things up for future characters.

i think his hands are to bright though.
KEEP IT UP BUD....setting yourself deadlines for each process is a good way to keep control of the whole process allowing you to measure your progress and make tiny adjustments to timescales as and when needed.....

Hello to all!

Thank you for your nice comments. I'm not trying to collect good comments or anything like that but I really think it looks like $hit... Maybe it's the long time I'm working on it but I don't think so. After all these years in the graphic design field I know if something is good when I see it. I'm really hoping that the new texture of the head and the hair that will be added will improve things. Cause the face is quite plain.

Anyway. You'll see the final version of this character in the next 2 days so you can all judge the results.

Thank you for your comments. You really give an extra boost for me to work harder on this thing.
