Hey,

I am making UV projections on a model I made. I want to use a planar projetion on an object. I select the faces, and then Polygons>Texturing>Planar Mapping [] reset the options and project. All is fine and dandy...but a projection manipulator DOESN"T appear....anywhere. I've had this happen before, and normally I'd just select the projection node in the attribute editor...but this time there is NO projection node....in the UV texture editor I can see that it in fact has been planar projected....but where did the projection node go???

I tried to reproduce my results on a cube as shown in the pic above....and the projection node was present, it all went well. Then I tried it again on the other poly object, and no projector. History is deleted, all connections and parenting etc. etc. is gone, its just a regular object, its own polyset.

Why am I missing nodes, where did they go, and how can I get them back?

Thanks for any help on this one

I'm having the same problem right now also. Did you ever figure it out?

In your hypergraph, click RMB > graph > input and output connection, the polyproj node should be there..:)

or select polyproj on the right channel box to show the manipulator projection :)

I've already tried that :(

Any operation for that matter brings up no relevent node. Neither in the Channel box or in the hypergraph.

thanks
