Nice idea :)
The main unit has some resemblance, at least to me, to the Nintendo Wii, but thats only because of the slot loader.

Are all controls situated in a remote control?

Thats a nice concept, not sure about the colour (blacks and silvers go with everything hense they are so ubiquitous) but there is nothing to say they couldn't be interchangable. Where is the control panel, or is it remote only? If it is thats a sweet idea, nice clean un-interupted surfaces.

As for the rendering, you can't really beat maxwell can you, good job.

Thanks for the comments guys. Yes, the medial player is controlled by a remote control device, but I haven't modelled it yet.

How Many Hours Of Render Time?

Whats up with the floor texture? is it low-rez or just a sampling issue?

Rendering took me around 12 hours with the following specs:
Intel Pentium 4 2,4 Ghz, 1Gig memory and a 128 MB Ati Radeon 9500 Pro video card

The tiling was messed up, because I forgot to tweak the scaling. My bad.
