View Full Version : Guitar Animation
Narratorway 07-28-2007, 07:01 AM Back when I was in school, one of our assignments was to create an intro and outro animation for the demo reels we were about to make, I took the character I'd made and had him strum a tune. I decided to remake that animation since I liked the idea so much and now I had a bit more experience to add.

Hi! I liked the body language a lot. But a person playing the guitar is a hard hing to animate realistically. At least from the viewpoint of another guitar player in the audience ;) The left hand isn't too noticeable, and is absurdly laborious to make move realistically, you don't need it. But you should pull the right hand a little more towards the sound hole, and it should move much firmer to get this sound out. Btw, a cool song, I love 'Brother...'!

nice performance, the subtelties sell it. I do the same sort of thing with my foot tapping when I play bass. Neat stuff.
