What do you specialize in with Photoshop? (In other words, what are you best at doing with Photoshop?) Or, what is your favorite use for Photoshop?
-Just curious, as always... :D

I specialise in figuring out what tool or process I need, to achieve an end result. Anything less is unacceptable. Anything more is obsessive.

My job requires me to know and be good at everything that PS has to offer, in both print and screen. And I like doing it all, PS is great, but I don't think I can say that I specialize in any one thing.

Heh. I guess I fall under that category.

While I am good at quite a few things with PhotoShop, I have an intense focus on Displace. Check it out: Technical Slop (http://w3.chrlmi.cablespeed.com/~halmich/tech-slop/index.shtml).

I specialize in large graphics with many layers. I try to hit around 6000x4000px for most of my projects. I seem to think that larger the graphics the better they will work as prints.

I like to use many layers because it add more texture and lighting quality to my work for more realism.

Why anyone would do such large images in photoshop I do not know... for print media of that sort that u want easily scalable, I think u should try Illustrator.... Vector graphics don't behave quite the same and as nicely as some bitmaps utilizing certain bitmapping techniques, but for stuff that huge... I think u would have an easier time in illustrator.

Anyhow as for me, I like messing with photos to make wallpaper.... something like my favorite hella h0t korean pop staR. My trademark technique between me and my friends is my use of the pencil sketch filter... I can get some pretty funky nice looking things w/ that.

If you want to create and print something more simple than Illustrator is awesome. But try creating complex lighting or texturing in Illustrator. If vector graphics were able to contain the level of details and complexity of a raster format then there would be no need for raster image formats, but vector images cannot.
