Hi.

I know 3D, but I'm new to character modeling and character animation.

This is my first full model and my second rig.

I use ElectricIMage Universe 5.0 and RamJac's Expressionist Plug-in for the fingers. Oh, and some default shaders and Triple-D Tool's free PowerParticles emitter for the glow ball.

I have some morph targets but didn't use them yet, I need to do them over and would like to do a full talking animation.

I want to add accessories, texture/paint and more effects, but mainly I need to learn to character animate, speaking, movement and timing.

I have GREATLY enjoyed this forum and CGTalk. I'm glad to finally have something to show.

Thanks

I like your new character. I haven't quite gotten to fully rigging my stuff yet, it still sort of throws me for a loop. Good luck animating him!

I am in the process or writing a tute for rigging but it's in EIU.

nice job on the character, really dig his face and his oversized hands and feet. only thing bothering me in that pic is his crotch, but maybe its just because of his position.

mega man ish stuff... maybe it could be cool, it looks like your model is full of creases and other accidentals... and the anatomy is rather inaccurate... even if your model is somewhat cartoony it still needs accurate muscle and bone structure... try another one and use as much reference as you can

Yes, it's way to severe in the crotch. I will have to change it because no matter position I have it's still too protruding. Thanks.

Good advice. I will definitely try another and spend more time on the model sheet. Also, I will lookout for bone structure.

This was a rig test so I really pulled the model. Not sure what specific creases but I don't doubt they are there. Suprised anyone can tell from that pic tho. I'll clean it up.

Thanks.
